>Day Reporting Center - Burke County

Day Reporting Center is a community-based correctional program that offers offenders a "one stop shop" for rehabilitative services.

Offenders must report on a regular and frequent basis o the Day Reporting Cener (DRC) in order to account for their movements and to participate in program services and activities offered at the DRC.

Programs and activities offered at the Burke County DRC include substance abuse assessments and treatment, literacy and GED classes, english as a second language class, vocational training, job development and placement, cognitive skills training, individual counseling and also transportation assistance.

The DRC provides increased control over offenders on probation and provide rehabilitative services at no cost to the offender. Offenders must meet eligibility requirements and must be court-ordered into the DRC program in order to be eligible for DRC services.
